Alex (llewellyn) Walker

Alex is a London based photographer working in fine-art and studio photography.

Alex's fine art spans a variety of genres such as portraiture, camera-less photography, landscape, and street photography. Themes such as analogue/ digital representation, discussions of communication and isolation, and the photographic process inform Alex's image-making. An overarching conceptual bridge that describes the bulk of their focus is that of broken semiotics.

Alex’s photographic endeavors span commercial portraiture, studio-based editorial work and event-photography.

Through a specialization in artistic projects related to the physical media of photo-history, Alex also performs digitization of physical photographs, including negatives, slides and prints.
