Using a professional-grade Epson Perfection V750 Film Scanner, we digitize a variety of photographic media with great efficiency and exceptional quality.

Traditional film negatives (or positives) can be digitized exceptionally quickly in either black and white or full colour. We are also able to offer professional colour correction to as accurately as possible render your film as richly and fully as possible. We can scan as many rolls of film as you need with the rolls cut to lengths of 6 frames or fewer.

Slides

Slide film presents a particular challenge for digitization with the photographic image being necessarily scanned differently than the outside of the slide which often contains crucial didactic information. We have developed a method for scanning the frame and the image separately and melding the two images together (as above) to render final files with a dynamic range far above what even the human eye could render. Extremely high resolution can ensure that no information is lost as the physical slides inevitably continue to age and degrade.

Large Format Film

The flexibility of machinery and software offers us the ability to digitize film ranging from 16mm stills, to 35mm, medium format, 4 x 5, 8 x 10, glass plates, lantern slides and more. Having made photographs and scanned them for fine-art reproduction on all of these mediums, we have the expertise necessary to ensure these projects are expertly completed.
